Ruby, as she generally is known, is a dynamic advocate who regularly appears in courts at all levels. She has substantial experience in immigration law including asylum, human rights and entry clearance matters. She has conducted Judicial Review applications and drafted appeals to the Court of Appeal. Ruby also regularly advises and represents clients in family law matters, including ancilliary relief and children law cases. Ruby is also able to be an Arbitrator where the parties so consent having represented in muilti-million pound international arbitration matters.

Ruby is also a able to take on cases directly from members of the public and/or companies and institutions under the Direct Access rules of the Bar Council.

Ruby is a member of the British Institution of Human Rights and the Immigration Lawyers' Practitioners Association. She is fluent in Bengali.

Ruby is also a member of Chambers Management, Tenancy and Pupillages Committees.
