Ruby, as she generally is known, is a dynamic advocate and regularly appears in courts at all levels. She has substantial experience in immigration law including asylum, human rights and entry clearance matters. She has conducted Judicial Review applications and drafted appeals to the Court of Appeal and regularly advises clients. Ruby also regularly advises and represents clients in family law matters, including ancilliary relief and children law cases.

Ruby is a member of the British Institution of Human Rights, and the Immigration Lawyers' Practitioners Association. She is fluent in Bengali.
