Syed has a burgeoning international commercial practice, dividing his time between England, Singapore and Bangladesh. He regularly appears in commercial, banking, landlord and tenant, debt recovery and consumer credit matters in the county court. He has also appeared before ICSID, SIAC and LMAA arbitral tribunals in multi-jurisdictional disputes relating to foreign investment, banking and shipping, as well as JCT construction arbitrations under the CIMAR rules.
Syed successfully completed his pupillage in Chambers and is also a member of Asia Pacific Legal 500 firm A Hossain and Associates in Bangladesh and Singapore.
