Sharon transferred to the Bar of England and Wales from a civil practice at the Law Library, Dublin, where she had advised on many aspects of Irish law (notably property law)

Prior to joining the Bar in London, Sharon worked in the pension / employment law department of a "magic circle" law firm. She had also worked for many years in-house, in Ireland and in the UK, for a leading multinational employee benefits consultancy firm, providing advice to the firm’s clients on pensions and employment law matters.

Sharon has appeared in the High Court, county courts and other tribunals. She also has considerable advisory and drafting experience.

In her spare time, Sharon enjoys reading and traveling. She is also an avid spectator of football.
