Jas successfuly completed her pupillage at Temple Court Chambers, during which time she has regularly appeared in many County Courts and Tribunals nationally. Her civil litigation experience includes representing claimants/respondents in small claims hearings including road traffic accidents, applications to set aside judgment/strike out and debt recovery matters.
Jas has extensive immigration experience having previously worked as an Immigration Caseworker for five years. She has experience of representing appellants in entry clearance and in country matters varying from spouse, student, and dependent relatives to asylum and human rights appeals. She has also represented appellants in deportation appeals, bail hearings and case management conferences.
During pupillage, Jas regularly assisted her pupil supervisor in representation in Employment Tribunals cases in respect of unfair dismissal/constructive unfair dismissal, race discrimination, disability discrimination and discrimination on the grounds of sex.
